Here SBP institute is sharing information regarding Army Education Havildar interested candidates can read this before start their preparation.

Education Havildar

The Army has soldiers who come from Class VIII/X backgrounds. There is a requirement to further enhance the education standards of these soldiers. Also certain specialist education / military training is imparted to the soldiers during their service for which we require MA/MSc/ B.Ed students who are well educated and have teaching abilities.

All the Applied Candidates Will Go through the recruitment process as mentioned below;

(A) Physical Fitness Test: In the First Phase of Recruitment Process Candidates will be Called for the Physical Standard mention Below :

  • 1.6 Km in maximum 6 minutes and 20 seconds.
  • Pull ups (Beam) – Minimum 6 pull ups.
  • Zig Zag balance – Must pass.
  • 9 feet ditch – Must Pass

 

Note: The Marks Obtained in the Physical Fitness Test will not be Considered while Framing the Final Merit List.

 

(B) Document Verification

(C) Medical Standard- as per the Indian army Norms

(D) Written Test 

 

The Candidates Qualified in the PFT and Medical Standard will be called for the Written test. The Indian Army Education Havildar Written Test will be Conducted on 29th October 2017. All the Candidates Must Have Score the minimum of 40 % to Pass the Exam. There will be two paper for each Stream i.e Science & Arts . (E) Personal Interview : All the Candidates who have declared successful in the written examination will be called for the Teaching Aptitude Test/Interview to be conducted at AEC Training College & Centre, Pachmarhi (MP).

 

(F) Final Merit List –  The Final Merit List Will be Prepared According to the Candidates Performance in the Recruitment Process.

 

Army Education Havildar Exam Pattern 2017

The Candidates of Both Arts & Science Stream Applied against Education Havildar Recruitment 2017. The Qualified Aspirants in Physical Fitness test Have to be appear in Written Examination. For Scoring the good Marks in Written Examination Candidates Can prepare according to the Indian Army Education Havildar Exam Pattern & Scheme Given Below;

 

There Will be Two Written Paper Will Be Conducted .

Paper 1  : The Paper 1st Will Be Common & Compulsory For all the Candidates Comprising 50 Objective type Questions on General Awareness & General English.

 

Paper 2 :

For Science Stream:  This Paper is Compulsory for Candidates Applied in Science Stream Having 50 Objective Type Questions From Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics.

 

For Arts Stream : This Paper is Compulsory for All Candidates Applied under Arts Stream, Comprising 50 Objective type Questions from History, Geography, Political Science, Economics & Mathematics. 

 

Note : Candidates Must Score the Minimum of 20 Marks in both papers Separately in order to pass the Exam. Be Aware About Negative Marking of 1/4th for Each Wrong Answered Question.

Age Limit:

(a) Civilian Candidates – 20 to 25 years as on 01 Oct 2017 (i.e candidates born between 01 Oct 19912to 30 Sep 1997). 

(b) Serving Combatants on Remusteration – 20 to 28 years as on 01 Oct 2016 (i.e candidates born between 01 Oct 1988 to 30 Sep 1996).

Pay Scale: On completion of successful training the Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer) will be placed in pay band-1 (₹ 5200-20200) as per 6th Pay Commission. In addition they will also be entitled to Grade Pay (₹ 2800) + Military Service Pay (₹ 2000) + Group X Pay (₹ 1400) per month. In addition you will be entitled to DA, free accommodation, Group Insurance, entitled ration for self, uniform, free medical and leave travel concession for self, family, and dependents, canteen facilities and other allowances as admissible to the regular Army.

Educational Qualification:

(1) The candidate must have working knowledge of either English or Hindi or both. 
(2) The Candidate should have Graduation / Post Graduation degree from a recognised university. 
(2a) Science Stream. B.Sc / B.Sc (IT) / BCA / BE / B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Sc (IT) / MCA / M.Tech (with or without B.Ed) with any of the subjects:- Physics, Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Mathematics, Electronics, Biology and Computer Science. 
(2b) BA / MA (with or without B Ed) with any of the following subjects:- English Literature, Political Science, Hindi Literature, Economics, Urdu Literature, Psychology, History, Mathematics, Geography and Sociology.

Medical Standard:

(a) A candidate should have robust physique and mental health, chest should be well developed having minimum 5 cm expansion, should have normal hearing with each ear, should have sufficient number of natural teeth, i.e. 14 dental points with healthy gums. Candidate should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele, varicose veins or piles. 

(b) Serving combatants on Remusteration candidates must be in medical category

SHAPE-1 A. Remusteration candidates will be exempted from recruiting medical examination at the time of recruiting rally. A certificate indicating medical category duly signed by Army Medical Authority where individual is serving and countersigned by the Commanding Officer of the unit will be submitted by the candidate.
